What SIL Providers Should Prepare Before a Certification Audit

A practical readiness sequence connecting applicable standards, approved systems and observable practice.

Start with the system

Confirm registration groups and modules within scope using current official information. Build an index pointing to controlled documents, completed records, participant feedback, worker competence and improvement actions.

Put it into practice

Test samples of participant and worker files, home records and governance oversight. Resolve access permissions and version-control problems before audit day.

Review and improve

Avoid scripting answers. Workers should understand their actual responsibilities, escalation routes and controlled information. Independent audit or compliance advice may be appropriate.
