How to Customise Policy Templates for Your Organisation
Convert a starting point into an operational document.
Start with the system
First determine applicability. Map every bracketed field to an accurate fact; never invent a role, system or after-hours arrangement.
Put it into practice
Consult affected people, including participants accessibly. Reconcile the draft with agreements, rosters, incident systems and jurisdiction requirements.
Review and improve
Obtain specialist input for clinical, medication, dysphagia, restrictive practice, high-intensity, employment, WHS and legal content as relevant. Then approve, train, deploy and test.
