Preparing Workers for Audit Interviews

Build confidence through understanding, not scripts.

Start with the system

Explain audit purpose, privacy and logistics. Workers should know how their role supports rights, choice, safeguarding, incident response and continuity.

Put it into practice

Use scenarios from approved processes and ask workers to locate controlled information. Address knowledge gaps through training and supervision.

Review and improve

Do not coach people to conceal concerns or give identical answers. Honest descriptions supported by records are more useful than rehearsed phrases.

General educational information only. Not legal, audit, registration, clinical, HR or WHS advice. No outcome is guaranteed.
